Why I became an Artist

My name is Connor Halligan and I decided to become an artist as I was badly bullied in high school I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life but I know that I didn't want to stay in high school any longer than I needed to so I decided that I should follow my passion which was creating art!

I then went to college, where my passion for art expanded exponentially! I learned all of these new techniques, experimented with new mediums, learned so much about so many different artists and their inspirations and I fell in love with mixed media.

When I create art there is nothing in the world I can't handle it is almost like a meditative state and to me that feeling is the best feeling in the world. Not to sound dramatic but art makes everything in life worth it to me.

To be honest I couldn't see myself doing anything else for the rest of my life but art!
